Item 11482

Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Tiny Ovoid Jug made and stamped by "D. Goodale."

This is the stamp of Daniel Goodale who ran the pottery in Hartford, Connecticut under this mark from 1825-1830 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 60).

This beauty features an Early Tall Ovoid Form, Tiny Size, and the Pottery Stamp.  Stands only 8 3/4" tall.

Very Good Condition. Shallow chipping around the front of the spout, four 1/4" chips on the base/underside, and some light staining from use.  No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.

I am hoping to look this good at 200 years old.
