Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Crock with Tulip.
 
The clay color and decoration make me think New Jersey, but will not bet the farm on that attribution.
 
Regardless of origin, this beauty has a Great Small Size, Freehand "2" Capacity Number, and a Tulip springing from Ground Cover with Two Leaves and a blossom with Four Petals.  The decoration is made with a combination of slip cup and brushwork.  Measures 8 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.  Two 1/8" nibbles and a 1/2" chip inside the rim and a shallow 1/4" chip on the left handle.  That's it!  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A partial stone ping on the rim in the front in the making.
