Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Uncommon 7 1/2" Stoneware Jar with Sprig of Violets from Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Dating around 1880 this beauty features Two Top and One Bottom Stripe that Frame an Elaborate Sprig of Violets. One of the nicest floral decorations on a jar from this region and one I seldom ever see. Stands 7 1/2" tall.
Exceptional Condition. As made. No damage of any kind. A kiln touch on each side in the making.
