Item 11704

Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this unusual 1 Gallon Decorated Cream Pot.  The decoration points to Maryland, but the clay and color point to Pennsylvania.  Scratching my head on the origin of this one!

Circa 1870, this beauty features Brushed Cobalt Vining around the Top that Hosts Three Large Loops and Two Dangling Tulip Blossoms.  Measures 8" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.

Excellent Condition. A 1/2" chip on the underside at the edge.  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A drying/firing line inside that shows outside only as a 1/2" line on the rim (closeup) and a 1/2" stoneping in one flower--in the making.
