Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous Blue and White Spongeware Creamer in Redware.
This beauty dates around 1830 and features Embossed Decoration all Around to Include a Looped Shoulder Molding and an Egret in the Wetlands on Each Side. Dark cobalt sponging. Measures 5" tall and 6" wide.
Excellent Condition. Three small and narrow nibbles on the glaze on the outside of the rim (1/8" to 1/4"). That's it! No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
If you collect spongeware, this is an early and tough piece to find!
