Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Pepper Spice Jar with Lid in the Basketweave and Morning Glory Pattern.
This beauty was made by the Brush McCoy Pottery and is featured in Taylor and Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, on p. 194.
Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features an Intricate Basketweave Pattern with "Pepper" in a Banner Embossed on the Front and a Morning Glory on the Back. Stands 3 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. The base is as made. The lid has three 1/4" chips and minor nibbles on the underside at the edge. No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration on either base or lid.
