    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous Berry's Famous Root Beer Mug .

     

    This beauty was made by the Whites Pottery of Utica, N.Y. between 1890 and 1907 when they made such wonderful molded stoneware.

     

    You can see this mug in The Blue and the Gray: Oneida County Stoneware by Christopher Bensch on p. 58.

     

    This mug features Top and Bottom Borders that Frame the Company Name and Product on the Front and Griffins on the Sides- all Accented with Cobalt.  Stands 4" tall.

     

    Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  A pinhead-size nibble on the rim by the handle in the making and glazed over.
