Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar made by "T. F. Reppert, Greensboro, Pa." 
 
Thomas Reppert made pottery in Greensboro from 1884-1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 157-159).  
 
This beauty features the Company Advertising Surrounding a Bird on a Branch.  An uncommon decoration for the potters of Greensboro.  Complete and crisp stenciling.  Stands 10" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A 3/8" chip inside the rim. That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Some overglaze on the back in the making.
