Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped "Geddes, N.Y." 

 

This crock was made in Geddes (Syracuse area) probably by Charles Hubbell and Dennison Chesebro (1867-87) (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 70). 

 

This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Freehand Stylized Floral Decoration.   Bright and Dark Cobalt too!  Stands 14 1/2" tall.

 

Very Good Condition.  A  5/8" chip on top of the spout and scattered staining from use.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
