Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Yellow Ware Jar made to contain "Briar Root Smoking Tobacco."  
 
It was made by the Brush McCoy Pottery in the early 20th century.
 
This beauty features Yellow Clay, Beaded Rim, and Four Groves of Trees--one of which features the Advertising in a Rectangle.  Measure 5 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" across the top.
 
Very Good Condition. A quarter-size glaze flake inside at the bottom, and three minor nibbles on the base edge (1/8" to 1/4").  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
