Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Jar made for "Bayless, McCarthy & Co., Louisville, KY."
 
It was made in SW Pennsylvania at Greensboro by either James Hamilton or Hamilton and Jones. 
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features the Company Advertising in Four Lines of Complete and Crisp Stenciling.  Exquisite contrast between the cobalt and light gray glaze.  Stands 9 1/2" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A professional restoration for a shallow 1 1/2" chip on the front rim.  Extraordinary job.  Otherwise, mint.
