Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 5 Gallon Stoneware Churn whose decoration indicates that is was made by A. P. Donaghho of Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.
This beauty features Three "Zipper" or "Tiretread" decorations. The smaller top one incorporates the 5 capacity number. The two larger ones are composed of Triangles and Dots. Stands. 18" tall.
Good Condition. It has five lines outside, three Y-shaped. Only the large Y-shaped lines shows inside and only about 20%. Some staining from use. No chips, cracks, or restoration.
