Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jar made by "A. P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, W. V."
Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg, WV from 1874-1900.
This beauty features a Tooled and Flared Rim, Applied Handles, Light Gray Salt Glaze, the Capacity Number in a Dotted Wreath framed by Snowflakes, and the Company Advertising in Cobalt Letters. All the advertising is crisp and complete. Stands 14" tall.
Excellent Condition. A waterglass line inside, a minor 1/8" nibble on the right handle, and some modest surface wear. That's it! No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Slightly lower on the right side in the making.
