Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot made by "A. Conrad, New Geneva, PA."
Alexander Conrad ran the pottery in New Geneva from 1870-1882 before moving to Shinnston, WV (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 164-65).
Dating to the 1870's, this beauty features a Rounded Rim and Sides and Three Lines of Advertising in Large Letters with Tulip Accents. Measures 8 3/4" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. A 1/4" chip and wear around the inside of the rim. That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. The chip on the rim to the front right and a 1" surface line inside at that spot are in the making and glazed over .
