Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Ovoid Jug made and stamped by "N. Clark, Athens." 
 
This is the stamp of Nathan Clark who build a pottery in Athens, N.Y. in 1805 and ran it under this stamp from 1813-1829 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 66).
 
This beauty sports an Ovoid Form and the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash within a Brushed Cobalt Wreath.  Stands 11" tall.    
 
Good Condition.  Three chips on the spout (1/4" to 3/8"), four chips on the bottom edge (1/8" to 3/8"), and some staining from use.  No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
