    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks are 3 Pieces of Small Diebboll Stoneware from Washington, Michigan for 1 Money." 

     

    These are the work of Robert Diebboll and Robert and his son, Bruce. Robert founded the Pines End Pottery in 1966 and made pottery until his passing in 2011. The stoneware was made with classic forms and decorations and carried on the American tradition of salt-glaze pottery with stunning success. Diebboll Pottery is highly sought after for its artistry and quality.

     

    The top piece is a little 7" Jug with the R. & B. Diebboll Stamp and a Raccoon Trying to Catch a Fish in a Pond Decoration.  As made. 

     

    The bottom left piece is a Little Crock with the R. H. Diebboll Stamp and a Big in the Meadow Decoration.  Measures 4" tall and 5" wide across the top.  As made.  

     

    The bottom right piece is a Little Crock with the R. & B. Diebboll signature on the bottom and a Lion in the Woods.  The decoration takes after that of the lion on stoneware by the Norton pottery in Bennington, Vermont.  Measures 4" tall and 5 1/4" wide across the top.  As  made, with a 3" drying/ firing line from the rim on each side as shown.
