Coming  to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug whose decoration indicates that it was made by I. V. Machett, Jr. who worked in Cornwall, N.Y. from 1859-1867, first with his father and then alone (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 65 and 82-83.
 
This beauty features a Cute Squatty Form and a Freehand Cobalt Floral.  Stands 9" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A couple minor nibbles and a narrow 1" chip on the bottom edge.  That's it!  No Spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
