Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jar made by "Williams & Reppert, Greensboro, PA."
 
This is the work of William Williams and Thomas Reppert who worked together from 1880-1884 and again after 1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp 157-58).  
 
This beauty features Top to Bottom Decoration.  From the top down are two straight stripes framing the rim, a wavy stripe flowing across the shoulder, the company advertising surrounding a floral garland, a freehand capacity number flanked by leaves, and a broad stripe at the bottom completing the decoration.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Some very light staining. That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration. Some very fine bubbles in the cobalt in some of the lettering in the making.
