Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Superb 2 Gallon Jug made by "Williams & Reppert, Greensboro, PA."
 
This is the work of William Williams and Thomas Reppert who worked together from 1880-1884 and again after 1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp 157-58).  
 
This beauty features Two Wavy Stripes at the Shoulder Framing the Capacity Number Flanked by Leaves, the Company Advertising in Four Lines of Stenciled Lettering Accented by Florals in the Middle, and a Stripe at the Bottom.  One of the more attractive jugs by this maker.  Stands 13 1/2" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition. Some very very light staining. That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
