Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made for the merchant, "W. W. Hunt & Co. Grocer, Haverhill."
 
Dating around 1870, this beauty features Three Lines of Impressed Advertising with Cobalt Wash.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition. A flat 1/2" chip on the left side of the spout back by the handle and some surface craze lines from the drying or firing in the kiln (closeup).  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
