Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Trio of Yellow Ware Mugs.
They were premiums given away by the Morton Pottery for the Buckeye syrup company around 1920 (Lisa McAllister, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book 2, p. 109.)
One of these was made for "The Stone Malt Company of Youngstown, O., Cleveland, O., Canton, O., Akron, O., and Columbus, O."
These beauties have a Rich Gold Coloration with Double Cobalt Stripes Top and Bottom. Stand 4 5/8" to 4 3/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. The one on the left has two 1/8" nibbles on the base. The one in the middle has two 1/4" chips at the base and a 5/8" chip on the underside at the edge. The one on the right is as made.
