Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Crock made and stamped for the merchant, "True Douglas & Co., Portland, Me."
 
The floral indicates that the crock was ordered from one of the potteries in Fort Edward, New York.
 
Dating about 1880, this beauty features the Merchant Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Tri-Part Leaf in the Fort Edward Style.  Measures 10 1/2" tall and 11" wide across the top. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Three narrow chips inside the rim (1/4" to 3/4") and a couple dime-sized stains.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
