Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Billhead from F. A. Plaisted & Company,  Gardiner, Maine.  Dates to the 1850's

 

Francis Plaisted ran the pottery in Gardiner from 1855 to 1866 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 38).

 

This beauty features the Company Advertising at the Top and mentiones "Stone and Fancy Pressed Ware."  It features pictures of botter puts, cake pots, jugs, preserve jars, churns, flower pots, pitchers, and fancy pressed ware. 

 

Very Good Condition.  A stain on the upper right corner with loss at the tip.
