Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped for "Allendale Mineral Spring Water, Geo. B. Guild & Co., 3 Beacon St., Boston." 
 
Made about 1880 (I suspect in Fort Edward, N.Y.), this beauty features 4 lines of impressed advertising  and a large cobalt leaf executed with a slip cup.  Stands 14 1/2" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A shallow 1/2" chip and two pinhead-size nibbles on the spout, and a 1/2" chip on the underside.  Some glaze craze lines on the left side of the spout and the back at the bottom from age or the firing.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
