Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fine Stoneware Jar made by "Hamilton and Jones, Greensboro, PA."
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157).
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Refined and Dainty Stencil with the Company Advertising Framed by Tulips at the Top and Bottom with Row of Petals in the Middle. Stands 8 1/2" tall.
