Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Jar made by the Beaumont Pottery, of York, Maine.
 
It is the work of Jerry Beaumont who inscribed his cross, the date of 1987, and his initials on the bottom.  In my humble opinion, Mr. Beaumont has been and continues to be one of the best contemporary potters in America today.  His work from York, Maine was some of his finest--like this one.  
 
This beauty features a Lidded Jar Form and a Detailed Basket of Blueberries on the Front.  Exquisite detail in the contours of the basket and a multitude of perfectly drawn berries!  Strong cobalt too!  Stands 7 1/2" tall.   
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of  any kind.
