Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Tiny Stoneware Cream Pot.

 

The decoration is distinctive of Daniel Shenfelder who made pottery in Reading, Pennsylvania from approximately 1860-1900 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 24-26).

 

This beauty features a Cream Pot Form with Tooled Rim and Shoulder, and a Brushed Cobalt Freehand Tulip Decoration. The tulip is the Shenfelder design of 5 base leaves and a blossom with 4 petals rising out of the leaves and moving left. Measures 5" tall and 5 1/2" wide across the top.

 

Good Condition. A 3/8" chip on the top of the rim in the front and a 1" chip on the side of the rim in the back. No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
