Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Large Stoneware Lidded Jar made for "Bishop's Peanut Butter, 32 Pound Net Weight." Retains its original lid. About 5 Gallons!
Bishop's Cracker and Candy Company made Peanut Butter in San Diego, California from 1913 to 1931. The crockery was made by the Pacific Clay Products Company that operated from 1892 to the 1940's.
This beauty features a Large Size, Stenciled Advertising on Both Sides, and the Original Lid. Measures 10 1/2" tall and 13" wide across the top.
Exceptional Condition. The base is as made. No damage of any kind. The lid has two chips on the top of the outer edge (1", 1 3/4"). Otherwise as made.
