Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Water Jug made and stamped for the merchants "Sullivan & Loty, Tremont St., Boston."  
 
The decoration indicates that this jug was  probably made for Sullivan & Loty by one of the potters in Fort Edward, New York.  
 
Circa 1880, this jug was made and stamped to hold "WATER."   It features Four Lines of Advertising and a Dotted Cobalt Leaf Decoration.  Stands 10 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Some scattered light staining on the back.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
