Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Classic Pitcher with Tulip Decoration. 

 

The decoration indicates that it was made by Asa E. Smith & Noah S. Day of Norwalk, Connecticut who manufactured stoneware from 1843-1849 or Asa Smith, his son Asa, and Howard Hobart who worked in Norwalk, Connecticut from about 1849 to the early 1860's (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 58-60).

 

This beauty features a Classic Form with Tall Tooled Rim, Tall Sloping Neck, Tooled Shoulder, Bulbous Base, and Brushed Cobalt Tulip Decoration.  Stands 10 3/4" tall.

 

Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind!  Remarkable for being nearly 180 years old!  I should look so good when I get to this age!  😁
