Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Syrup Jug made by the "Fort Edward Pottery Co."

 

This is the stamp of George A. Satterley who ran a pottery in Fort Edward, New York under this stamp from 1859-1861 (William Ketchum, Jr., Potters and Potteries of New York State, 1650-1900, 2nd ed., p. 248).

 

This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Stylized Cornucopia Decoration Executed with a Slip Cup.  Stands 13 3/4" tall.

 

Excellent Condition. Scattered light staining.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
