    Coming to you from Doc's Crock is this wonderful 2 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "Seymour & Bosworth, Hartford, Conn" (partial stamp).

     

    This is the work of Israel Seymour and Stanley Bosworth who ran the pottery in Hartford Connecticut from 1871 to around 1890 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, 61).

     

    This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and Two Clusters of Grapes with 8 Leaves and 14 Grapes Each.  Measures 10" tall and 10" wide across the top.

     

    Excellent Condition.  Some water glass staining inside, and a couple of small flat flakes on the bottom edge.  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A 1" drying line at the base in the making.
