Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot whose decoration make an easy attribution to Alexander Conrad ran the pottery in New Geneva, Pennsylvania from 1870-1882 before moving to Shinnston, WV (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 164-65).

 

Dating to the 1870's, this beauty features a Cream Pot Form with Rounded Sides, Semi-Squared Rim, and an Elaborate Stenciled Geometric Decoration found Primarily on Conrad Stoenware.  Stands 8 1/2" tall. 

 

Excellent Condition.  A flat 3/8" chip on the front rim.  That's it!  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The small chip on the back rim is in the making and glazed over.
