    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Mug made for the "Rochester Brew. Co., Rochester, N.Y."

     

    This beauty was made by the Whites Pottery of Utica, N.Y. between 1890 and 1907 when they made such wonderful molded stoneware.

     

    You can see this mug in The Blue and the Gray: Oneida County Stoneware by Christopher Bensch on p. 60.

     

    This mug features the Company Advertising Framed by Fancy Molded Stripes.  All the debossed elements of the design are filled with cobalt.  Stands 5 1/4" tall.

     

    Excellent Condition. A minor thin 1/4" chip and a surface 3/8" ping line on the back of the rim (closeup).  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
