Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made for "R. B. Chapman's Spring Water, Stoneham, Mass."
 
Dating around 1870, this beauty features Salt Glaze and Three Lines of Impressed Advertising with Cobalt Wash.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A single 3/8" chip on the top of the spout.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A little 1/8" chip on the back of the spout is in the making.
