Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Blue and White Lidded Butter Crock in the Dragonfly and Flower Pattern.
 
It was made by the Logan Pottery of Logan, Ohio around 1920. This crock is featured in Taylor and Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, on p. 113.   
 
This is an uncommon butter crock.  I see a complete one about every 5 years or so. 
 
This beauty features a Flower within a Medallion of Leaves Framed by Dragonflies on Each Side, with Top and Bottom Diamond Borders. The Lid features Rounded and Pointed Picket Fence Trim. Diffused Blue Coloration.  Measures 4 3/4" tall and 6" wide across the top.  
 
Excellent Condition.  The base has a 1/4" chip inside the rim and one on the platform, and a couple minor nibbles on the bottom edge.  The lid has a 1/4" chip and a couple minor nibbles on the bottom edge.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration on either base or lid.
