Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this most unusual 2 Gallon Ovoid Jug made for the merchants "O & W. Hull, Druggists, 125 Maiden Lane, New York." 
 
Circa 1850, this beauty features the Early Ovoid Shape, Tooled Spout, Four Lines of Impressed Advertising with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip Decoration.  Stands 14" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A couple 3/8" chips in the body, a few short craze lines, and some staining from use.  A filled in chip in the handle that needs a repaint.  No spout or base chips, hairlines, or cracks.
