Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantastic Rainbow Spatterware Sugar Bowl.
 
Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty features an Octagonal Shape with Flared Rim, Bulbous Body, Flared Footer, Applied Handles, and Blue and Red Rainbow Spatter.  Comes with the original Matching Lid with Cobalt Finial.  Stands 7 1/2" to the top of the finial.
 
Excellent Condition.   The base has some light staining inside on one side near the top and on one handle.  Otherwise, no chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  The lid has a single 3/16" nibble on the side by one corner (upper right in the picture).  Otherwise, as made.
