Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Crock made and stamped by the "Ottman Bro's & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1872-1892 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 68).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Bluebird Poised on a Branch Decoration.  Light gray glaze and rich cobalt decoration make for an eye-appealing decoration.  Measures 9" tall and 9 3/4" wide across the top.  Perfect small size for decorating.
 
Very Good Condition.  A narrow 3/4" chip inside the rim, and a nibble and two small chips outside the rim (1/8", 1/4").  That's it! No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
