Coming to you from Doc's Crock's is this wonderful 2 Gallon Preserve Jar made and stamped by the "New York Stoneware Co."  
 
This company was in operation in Fort Edward, N.Y. from 1859-1885.
 
This beauty features the Preserve Jar Form with Inner Lip for a Lid, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Stylized Floral Decoration.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Minor nibbles on the inner lip where a lid would sit, and some light staining on the lower half.  That's it! No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
