Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantabulous 2 Gallon Syrup Jug made and stamped by the "New York Stoneware Company, Fort Edward, N.Y."  
 
This company was in operation in Fort Edward, New York from 1859-1885.
 
This beauty features a Pouring Spout, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Bird on a Branch created with a slip cup.  Stands 14 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Two nibbles and three 1/4" chips on the spout, some light scattered staining.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A minor 1" surface drying/firing line at the base and some fine bubbles in the thicker part of the cobalt-- both in the making.
