Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Haxstun, Ottman & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun and William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1867-1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty sports a Larger Size, the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Freehand Floral Bouquet in Dark and Shiny Cobalt.  A ribbon ties the bottom together and from there leaves cradle the blossoms which continue on to dots and tendrils at the top.  Lots of skill here!  Stands 15 3/4" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind!  Typical manufacturing imperfections.
