Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon 1 Gallon Jug made for "Mansbach's Whiskies, 318 Market St., Philadelphia."

Circa 1900-1920, this jug was most likely made by the Sherwood Brothers of New Brighton, PA.

This beauty features a Brown Slip Top and Bristol Glaze Bottom with the Advertising in a Strong Oval Stencil in Black.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.

Excellent Condition.  Some scattered scratches and fine glaze crazing of age.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.

I cannot find any former sale or picture of this jug, only a few glass bottles related to the company.  Thus I am assuming that this jug is uncommon.
