    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "Evan R. Jones, Pittston, Pa."

     

    Jones potted in Pittston in the 1870's and 1880's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 34-37).

     

    This beauty features the pottery stamp with cobalt wash and a Large Brushed Cobalt Sideways Tulip in Vibrant Cobalt.  The tulip has 5 leaves and a blossom with 3 petals. Measures 7 3/4" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.

     

    Excellent Condition.  A minor 1/8" nibble inside the rim, and three small chips on the left handle (1/8" to 3/16").   That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  

     

    A great form, size, and decoration!
