Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Wax Sealer Canning Jar made by "A. P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, W. VA."
 
Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.
 
This beauty features a Nicely Tooled and Wide Rim, and the Pottery Advertising Stenciled on the Front.  The stencil is bold blue and the glaze a light gray for a much better than usual contrast.  Stands 8" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A narrow 1/4" flake inside the rim and two small chips on the back (1/8" at shoulder, 1/2" at bottom).   That's it!  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
