Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Little Butter Crock made for "J. C. Helfrich & Sons, 1552 W. G. Blvd, Walnut 0483, Detroit, Mich."
 
Dating around 1900 to 1920, this little crock features a Black Top Glaze and White Bottom Glaze that Features Four Lines of Blue Advertising.  Notice the early telephone number of Walnut 0483.  Measures 3 3/4" tall and 5 1/4" wide across the top.  
 
Excellent Condition.   Some scattered glaze wear outside the rim, and a 1/4" chip on the underside at the edge.  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
