Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made by "Hamilton & Jones, Greensboro, PA." 
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Top and Bottom Stripe Framing the Company Advertising Surrounding a Leaf and underscored by the Capacity Number Flanked by Leaves.   Measures 9 1/2" tall adn 8 1/2" wide across the top.   
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  What may look like a hairline through the capacity number is a narrow run of glaze in the making.
