Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar made by "Hamilton and Jones, Greensboro, PA."
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157).
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features the Company Advertising in an Arch Surrouding a Floral Blossom and Accented at the Top by Tulilps and at the bottom by Leaves Flanking a Diamond.  Stands 10" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A minor nibble on the rim and a few small, light stains.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
