Coming to you from Doc's Crocks this Monumental 3 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "H. B. Pfaltzgraff, York, PA ." 
 
This is the mark of Henry Pfaltzgraff who ran the family pottery in York in the 1870's and 1880's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 50-52).
 
This beauty features the pottery stamp and a Huge Tulip and Leaves Filling the Front with Blue.  There are 18 leaves and a blossom with 8 petals.  Stands 15 1/4" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Two 1/4" chips on the spout and some staining from use.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
