Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this great 2 Gallon Stoneware Crock made and stamped by "F. T. Wright & Son, Taunton, Mass."
 
This is the mark of the Franklin T. Wright and his son who ran their pottery from 1866 to the 1870's (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 50).
 
This beauty features a Small Size, the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Stylized Swirl Floral.  Measures 9" tall and 10" wide across the top.
 
Very Good Condition.  Four minor nibbles and two small chips inside the rim (3/8", 5/8"), a dozen henpecks in the glaze on the back up by the rim, and a stain run on the left side.  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Some fine bubbles in the thickest portion of the cobalt and a chip behind the right handle in the making.
